Seven venues all fresh, tasteful and sophisticated. You’ll be spoilt for choice with our selection of delicious local specialities and other exquisite dishes.

Breakfast

Breakfast is served between 7:30 am and 10:30 am in our Restaurant. Please let us know if you are vegetarian or have any allergies.

Restaurant Alpenclub

Restaurant Alpenclub has a long tradition. There was an inn on this site as early as 1875, with just six tables. Today, we are able to offer our guests a little more in the way of culinary choice and atmosphere. Whether you feel like a pizza or perhaps a fillet steak prepared on a hot stone, our cuisine is as varied as it is innovative, while also remaining true to our local roots.

During summer, you can sample our fine cuisine on our sun terrace and enjoy a unique view of the Titlis glacier.

Fondue Stube

Social gatherings on cold winter evenings. Our Fondue Stube is a great place to warm up after a day’s skiing, snowboarding or snowshoe walking. Whether you are in a big or small group, you can enjoy a fine raclette, or a meat or cheese fondue. Enjoy real comfort after a wonderful day in the snow!

Restaurant Ober

A cosy atmosphere under the eaves. The traditional wood features in our renovated attic lend Restaurant Ober its warm and inviting charm. Dine on delicious local specialities and premium meats; a selection of vegetarian dishes is also available. Bring a wonderful evening to a close with an aperitif and a nightcap in our Under après-ski bar. Looking for more? We’d be happy to organise a small event or large-scale celebration for you at our hotel.

Under Bar

Come for an aperitif or nightcap in our beautiful après-ski bar in the Under. The cosy meeting place is ideal for a relaxed stop after a day out in the beautiful countryside. A cocktail, a glass of wine or champagne or a warm drink - our bar menu has many delicious things to offer. Here you can relax wonderfully and enjoy the evening in a playful way, if you feel like it.

Eventlocation Under

Never miss an opportunity to celebrate. Whether you are looking to crack open the bubbly with 45 guests or 115, our event location Under is the perfect place to party the night away. With a stage, two bars, top-class menus, fancy cocktails and live music or a DJ into the early hours of the morning – anything is possible. We can even make the entire Alpenclub, including the hotel, exclusively available to you for your event. We will provide you and your guests with everything you need, from the disco ball to a cosy bed at the end of the night. It’s all ready and waiting for you.

Wine cellar

Housed between the stone walls of our old vaulted cellar is our selection of fine wines. But that’s not all. Large wheels of Alpine cheese in our cheese cellar will also whet your appetite. This setting provides the perfect atmosphere for a drinks reception or celebration of any size, and could be combined with a meal in one of our restaurants.

Drinks receptions for up to 40 people; eating in the wine cellar for up to 18 people.

«Excellent Cheese Fondue! It was our last day in Switzerland and we had not had any fondue yet. After coming back down from Mount Titlis, we walked to the Alpenclub. Since it was such a beautiful sunny day, we elected to set outside on the sun terrace with Mount Titlis as your backdrop. We ordered the Cheese Fondue (Kasefondue) served with bread (29.00 CHF per person). 100% of the cheese used for this fondue is made at the Engelberg Benedictine Monastery (about 1 block from the restaurant). This is Switzerland’s only publically accessible artisan cheesemaking production within a monastery.»
